About BetPokies

Who we are

BetPokies is a small editorial team that reviews online casinos and pokies for players in Australia. We don’t run a casino, take bets or hold anyone’s money.

Our reviews are written by named people, and every page says who wrote it and who checked it.

How our reviews work

Every casino is scored on the same six things, from its own published data: the licence, payouts, bonus terms, games, support and the tools to stay in control.

• Licence and operator

Who runs the casino and which licence it holds, and what that licence does for you.

• Banking

Deposit and withdrawal methods, limits, fees and payout times, from the cashier and the terms.

• Bonus terms

Wagering, time limits, maximum bets and caps, read in the full terms, not the banner.

• Staying in control

Deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion, where the casino has them.

The weights and the rules are public: how we rate casinos.

How we make money

Casinos pay us a commission when a player signs up through our links. That never buys a casino a better score or a higher place: the order of every list comes from our scores, and a casino can’t pay to change them.

What we don’t do

• Make up player stories or “tested and approved” claims
• Promise wins, or present gambling as a way to make money
• Settle disputes for players, or handle casino accounts
• List casinos we couldn’t check a licence for without saying so
